The Venue

One private residence. One wedding at a time.

Set on the shore of Pickerel Lake, the grounds were never built to host a hundred weddings a summer — they were built to host yours. Exclusive use of the ceremony lawn and reception lawn, white folding chairs, and a signature arbor come standard, with the lake doing most of the decorating.

Because this is a working private property and not a commercial event hall, the rules are simple and few: outdoor grounds only, a defined guest cap, and an end time that lets the evening close gently instead of getting shut off.

Every tier includes exclusive use of the outdoor grounds, white ceremony chairs, the signature arbor, and a planning touchpoint before your date. Portable restroom coordination is required for all bookings.

Common add-ons: extra event hour ($350/hr), rehearsal hour ($250), cleanup add-on ($400–$750), and tent, lighting, generator, or restroom trailer coordination at vendor cost plus a coordination fee. Booking requires a 30% nonrefundable retainer, with the balance staged before your date — full terms are in the venue agreement.

Private property, plainly explained

We'd rather you know the shape of the day now than be surprised on it. Here's how the grounds work, straight from our venue rules.

Where you'll be

Outdoor event grounds only — ceremony lawn, reception lawn, and arrival area. The residence interior isn't part of the rental.

Restrooms

A portable restroom reservation is required for every event. A family restroom is available to the bridal party only.

Parking

On-site parking is capped at about 40 vehicles. Shuttle or large-vendor needs should be flagged in advance.

Timing

Music ends at 9:30 p.m., the event wraps by 10:00 p.m., and guest departure follows shortly after.

Children & pets

Children are welcome as fits your event, under your supervision. Pets aren't permitted, aside from lawful service animals.

Fire & flame

Open flame, candles, and fire features need written approval in advance — nothing is assumed.

Vendors

Catering, bartending, DJs, rentals, and photography are all welcome; each follows the site's noise, access, and staging guidelines.

Security deposit

Refundable, separate from your rental fee, and returned within 14 days after inspection unless something needs to be deducted.
